Jennifer Lawrence said, “I didn’t really care, I was tired of all this.” The actress talked about her decision to step away from the spotlight in the September issue of Elle UK.

Lawrence is most recognizable for her roles in “Silver Linings Playbook” and “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay,” which earned her an Oscar for best actress and a Golden Globe for best actress, respectively.

She announced that she was walking away from all her roles in a cover interview with Vogue for its April issue. The announcement came just a month after she attended the premiere of “Red Sparrow” alongside director Francis Lawrence, her husband Chris Martin and co-star Matthias Schoenaerts.

“Since I graduated from college, I have been traveling a lot, I have just been excited to do different things,” said Lawrence. “I was tired of being an actor. Everybody had gotten sick of me.

“I mean, I couldn’t feel more supported or loved or happy. I was doing what I love doing, but I just was not satisfied with the way I was living my life.

“I’m going to do the same thing in five years, if not more. But I’m not going to look back, not anymore. I’m done looking back.”

Lawrence released a photo of herself from her Vogue cover shoot on Instagram in June.

We’ll be glued to the September issue of Elle UK for its Juilliard-trained cover girl of the year, who is not only a Hollywood A-lister, but a social influencer as well.
